Album & Cover
Fig.14 was the first album released by Human Sexual Response. Their tune “Jackie Onassis”, got airplay beyond college radio, while other songs, such as “What Does Sex Mean to Me?” had more of a cult success.
According to Aubrey Powell, an assistant Paul Maxon did most of the design for this cover. He was an American and he knew of the band ‘Human Sexual Response’. ‘Jelly on a plate’ was a sexual innuendo expression at the time with the two kids prodding the jelly seemed appropriate and surreal.
