Biography
In 1974 Mark Ashton formed “HEADSTONE” and made two albums with Trident Production – EMI Records, Bad Habit (1974), and HEADSTONE. Producer John Anthony had already produced the albums of Yes (1968) and Queen(1973).

The graphics for this cover was inspired by Science Fiction and was originally designed for Al Stewart’s ‘Modern Times’ album but was rejected. Mark Ashton would have a solo album also designed by Hipgnosis in 1979 called ‘Solo’
